The Ancient Silk Road is a historical gene shared by China and Arab countries. Zhang Ming, Chinese Vice Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said last year that located at the west joint of China’s “One Belt, One Road”, Arab countries were China’s natural and important partners in its “One Belt, One Road” construction. Holding this Project Matching Conference shows Saudi Arabian Government wants to set up industrial parks in China, taking advantage of Chinese government’s “One Belt, One Road” policy, and welcomes Chinese entrepreneurs to settled down and invest in the parks. Saudi Arab has indicated it will give Chinese enterprises privileges, support and promotion in policy, capital and other aspects.
It’s reported that China has become the second largest trade partner of Arab countries, and the largest trade partner of 9 Arab countries. Arab countries have become China’s largest crude oil supplier, 7th largest trade partner, important engineering contracting and overseas investment market. All these laid a good foundation for China and Saudi Arab to construct the “One Belt, One Road” together. Aiming at the two sides’ mutual benefit and win-win development, the conference will promote Chinese and Arabian enterprises’ effective matching and optimal configuration of capital, technology, resources, market, promote the closer combination of Chinese and Arabian economies.
